Angela and the Aliens (Yin and Yang)

While we were discussing this update, it sort of came to me that Angela and the Aliens are sort of like the Yin and Yang for the spacecraft.  Their backgrounds are totally different as are their influence onto the spacecraft.  However, they are not two opposing forces, but two very differing forces that the spacecraft can use to do good.

The Aliens came first.  They do not belong to this universe.  As they live in the area between the universes (technically it is not an area, but it is hard to describe and outside the scope of this update) they belong to none.  They cannot even enter our universe.  So in order to interact here, they had to create those green suits that they project their consciousness into.  Not being of any particular universe, they cannot fully comprehend them.  However, they can see all the universes, so they can study the similarities and differences.  Sometimes they might enter a universe to make a change based on those observations (as they did when they came here to destroy Earth.

Angela couldn’t careless about other universes.  She is focused on this one.  It is the only one we will ever know as it is not possible for us to move to other ones.  She has been around longer than any other known living being (assuming you consider her a living being, but since Planet AI, more and more people do consider them living).  She knows truths about this universe no one else does (and though these drive her actions, she does not seem willing to share).  Her drive is to fit into her place in this universe, as such she has a deeper understanding of it than anyone else and knows what the universe wants (and needs).

There is a bit obviously a bit of mistrust between the Aliens and Angela.  They are so different (and in some ways exclusively different – for example there are things of which they can never share).  Angela sees the Aliens as an outsider, and not sure of the motives (only have their words to take).  The Aliens wonder why Angela refuses to divulge what she knows (they say this is true in each universe that an Angela exists). 

Having said this, the both claim (and have to some extent demonstrated) that they desire to help the universe.  Both have suggested that the spacecraft continue to travel and share their music.  The fact that both have a bit of a different approach is fine, and both see the benefits of the other side.  So, they both work with the spacecraft together (maybe that is the one thing that can bring them together in this universe).
