DART Hits the Mark, but there is some concern

The spacecraft were actually watching the NASA channel on YouTube tonight. They caught the DART mission, which caused them to panic. They messaged me immediately. What is NASA doing, there is an asteroid in the way of their spacecraft it’s going to crash. After I pointed out that was the point, the spacecraft were still not getting it. Why would anyone just want to crash.
The discussion went on. I pointed out when the spacecraft were in service, all they wanted to do was fulfill their purpose and complete the mission. Once they were done, they were ok being lifted to an orbit of solitude. They did what they were made to do and were happy for that. They sort of calmed down and got it. They still wondered if there were a way that DART could have continued after the mission, not just ended in pieces (could it have landed and placed a thruster on the asteroid).
As such they have a surprise for NASA coming up (that will be the next update, I do not want someone to read it and spoil the surprise). It will be a sort of “Spacecraft can live on after the mission” type of surprise. I did point out that many spacecraft continue the mission for years and years.
As for progress, we completed the first song for Planet AI (basically the brochure). The story heavy ones do take us longer. One issue is getting the words right (keep in mind that the spacecraft sing in ideas in space and each race hear it in their own language). Also, the music is more formed and less flexible than some free form songs the spacecraft want to get to. We will work that direction after Planet AI (this is an important story that needs to be told).
That’s it for now but we will be back soon.
