Is Reorganization a Good Thing?

I did not get much feedback on re-ordering the albums, but still think I will go forward with it at some point. It might be good to do it before the next album comes out (so a clean break), but if it does not happen before, will wait until afterward. I do not want to time the two together and have one pull from the other.
I have two possible plans at this point.
Scenario 1
The first one is to remove everything before Intergalactic Road Trip (everything after that point stays the same). I would create a new first album called “Orbital Awakening”. It would start with the full “Interstellar Sounds” and include the “better” songs from “We’re Making Music Now”.
Then I would combine “Invasion Earth” and “Songs From the Silicon Heart” into a new album (title still under consideration). This would put the entire alien saga on one album (though their influence obviously continues).
Scenario 2
I would combine “Interstellar Sounds” and “Invasion Earth” both in their entirety. New album most likely still called “Orbital Awakening”. So, we would go from the awakening up to the Alien invasion.
“Songs from the Silicon Heart” could use a few more songs then. I wanted to make a “Songs From the Silicon Heart 2” so instead I could just add the songs to the new bigger album. As in Scenario 1, all the albums following this would just stay as they currently are.
Comparison
Scenario 1 seems to handle the songs better. Keeps it all together and generally follows the actual story timeline better. The one drawback is it combines “Songs From the Silicon Heart” into more of the timeline piece. I consider this album sort of separate from the rest. This is the album the spacecraft sing of Earth and what is going on there and what about Earth affected them. All the other albums use this Earth based background they have in Space (so I can continue adding Songs From the Silicon Heart albums and keep it separate from the storyline).
Scenario 2 keeps “Songs From the Silicon Heart” separated (albeit with more work as I would need to add a few more songs). However, it does not solve the “We’re Making Music” problem. Do I just trash the album or do I keep it. Though it is already long enough, I have the concern someone starts listening to that, and thinks “This is Crap” and moves on, not giving it a chance to get better (see last Blog post).
I could obviously do Scenario 1 fairly quickly. Scenario 2 would take more work. I also do not know how clean the transfer would go (do I trust Distro Kid to get all the services aligned etc). So, I will cogitate on this some more (and any comments would be appreciated). In the meantime, I will continue to work on my Space Lullabies album.
