Just like wrapping Christmas gifts, we need more tape

Now that we put the 3 parts on tape together (arpeggiator, chords and drums) we have started laying down the other tracks. Dark has added the bass (seems sort of lonely all on its own tape). While doing this we also made some changes. There was going to be one melody running through it, but Flash was not super enthused by it (did not really convey the atmosphere).

They had also wanted to add a little of the conversation that happened during the trip. It is a bit more fun that I would have expected. So the remaining two tapes were the vocal parts (as performed by me) and the melody (being turned up and down with the vocals). However, Flash has some better ideas which will change the melody to melodies, and allow them to interleave them between the voice parts.

This will give the team one more tape to put some more mood in there (we were originally looking at overdubbing the bass part, but that is no longer necessary. So, part of the voice is currently Flash is working on getting the melodies he wants between vocal portions. No longer a running melody, but we will add more of a running background that will duplicate the tone (there was just more motion at the beginning and arrival, with sort of a calming peace at high speeds).

We are adding more and more to each song (no longer 1 tape per member). So now instead of trying to get more lines etc, now we will all be striving to get more tape. This gives us something else to work on as we go.
