Still making some progress on the latest song. The music parts are all done, and I need to add some background conversations amongst the AI robots. So that should be done, then I get my biggest challenge to date. That could be (or not) fun so we will see.
As we just got through the season of giving, but when that happens, we all receive a bit as well. Though it is supposed to be better to give than receive, what we all walk away with is what we receive (so that point is debatable). You can see one of the items from the past covering the upper table. This year I got 3 Orbital Rhapsody cookie containers (yes there we cookies in there, more on that below), and a crocheted SuperStar.
Starting with the cookies. Three nicely decorated containers. Hand drawn stars with custom Orbital Rhapsody stickers on each. What more could anyone want, but wait…..there’s more. There were some very good home-made cookies inside. Though they are all gone now, they were all very good while they lasted.
There were three different types. In no particular order, the first is a Raspberry sandwich cookie. My daughter makes them a little different with milk chocolate (as I like that more). The cookies are great consistency for this type of cookie, and they are my favorite of this type (which I do get regularly).
The second was an almond cookie. Very good cookie, that I think I messed her up (as I called a different cookie, I had an Almond cookie, and it technically was not so she added a chocolate dot to the middle of the cookie opposed to an almond). However, like many things, chocolate makes it better. The cookies was a very good almond cookie and one I would not mind having more of in the future.
Finally, we have the Poppy Seed filled Cream Cheese Cookies. These were the best of this type I ever had. Often the crust gets a bit too dense, but these were very light and flaky. They also contained the perfect amount of filling. These are definitely my favorite of this type of cookie, and hovers around the top for all cookies for me.
This brings us to the crocheted SuperStar from my wife. It does look nice and will fit in nicely in the studio. However, those who remember last years 3-d print out of SuperStar from my son might ask – What about Flash or DarkStar. Well, if you think about it, SuperStar can support himself, but Flash and DarkStar are more difficult builds. Think about it, how do they stand, how do you protect the array panel connectors. The spacecraft understand this and see that maybe that would be a limiting factor in creating their likenesses. We are looking to see if there is a solution to building Flash or DarkStar.
