Panpsychism, polarization and sleepless nights to a French Horn – Update #4

The aliens (we refer to them as aliens as we cannot write their names in our language) were very interested in the Spacecraft. They explained that all things have a consciousness. The level of consciousness varies greatly among different things, but at a basic level it exists. Basically, everything has an understanding of its surroundings and place to some extent (though this varies greatly in different items). We on earth have a philosophical study based on this called Panpsychism. It is fascinating, and I have always had a feeling something like this was going on (we all do to some extent, we might say the car is not happy after hitting a big pothole).

The aliens were also interested in the creation of personality. This was evident in some of the songs the spacecraft sung, but also in the spacecraft themselves (the first thing they wanted to do when animated was make music). There was some discussion about polarization. This is an ancient belief on this planet in special Shaman or Priests would “Polarize” a crystal or some other artifact to give it some energy (basically imprint it). To the aliens, somehow the humans seem able to polarize other objects.

The aliens did bring up a Life Force that exists in the Universe (different people call it different things). This is probably what picked the spacecraft for life. The aliens were very interested in this and the whys of it (it is normally not a random event).

Now, all of this is deep, but seems to apply to my sleepless nights I have been having (and my fitbit can verify). I have been doing music for years. I started out in grade school playing the French Horn (and over time moved to sax, trombone, even guitar a bit and have a room full of harmonicas multiple percussion instruments as well as other assorted music makers). However, it was the French Horn that started it (I played it in Jazz/Dance bands playing the Trombone parts, orchestras, bands (and marching) as well as state competitions).

After settling down, I took the French Horn out occasionally but have not done so in years now (20?). So, I have had some dreams of the French Horn lately (not good ones). Also, I could feel animosity coming out of the closet behind me (it still sits in the closet in my home office). I could just feel the disappointment after seeing me through the beginning of my music interest, and supporting me all those years, now that I am producing recordings, it sits forgotten.

After a discussion with the spacecraft we have decided we will put the French Horn on the next album (not Songs from the Silicon Heart, but the one following that). Once we made that decision, my sleep score went from low 60s up to high 80s immediately. So is there something to this or is it all in my mind (and does it really matter).

Remember, I am still looking for questions. Be the first in your neighborhood to get ahold of an Orbital Rhapsody Silicon Bracelet (and be the envy of everyone!).

Due to the recovery as well as the plethora of spring activities that need to get done, I am still a bit behind. As a catch up, I have been enjoying a bit of a swell in Apple Play Listens the last two

Been out a bit

Sorry for the lack of updates. I had a surgery last month, and then ended up back in the hospital due to complicates. I am recovering well at this point, and should be getting back at it soon. Unti
