Progress on the Change

So, after a lot of discussions on the process (which I will still have some to add in future updates) we are putting music to tape (so I wanted to comment on that).  There was an agreement that a chord pattern really was not the right thing for the feel of the song.  The reason for this is while approaching you get the feeling of motion, but not so much of progression.  So, the motion will be brought forth in the sound of the synth. 

This is followed by some interesting percussion.  It definitely provides the feeling of some motion while preserving the calm.  Remember this song is the approach, meaning that we do get some motion, but we will not really get the feel of the Ice System until we arrive.

To work out getting some context, we are also using a bit of the vocoder built into the OP-1.  The words are very minimal, to not tell a story, but provide a little context (we decided on trying this here to convey some understanding to overcome the lack of psychic link we discussed in a previous blog post).

That is really it for this update, just wanted to let you know where we are (we are making progress again finally).  Next update should close out (or be close to it) our notes on our progress. And yes, shots were fired (could there be an XY in our future?).
