So where is the new album

So, you are probably asking yourself, if the upgrades are done, why is there no new album out. First off, it took awhile for the spacecraft to learn how to use their upgrades. However, that is for the most part done. I was hoping on one more ground update, but that seems to be taking longer than hoped (so that will be a later thing - I also have a ground update to help make the videos better, but I will save that until we are closer to the album coming out).

The first song “Third First Sunrise” is done. There are two versions (one with the French Horn and one without – figured I owed that to everyone due to my poor playing). Once the spacecraft were dropped off by the aliens (still light years away) they ended up near a travel hub and were out in space around the planet when they all experienced a sunrise together. This made them think of their other first sunrise. Each spacecraft experienced their first two first sunrises alone - first as they came off the rocket, then after the reawakening, and now they can have the experience all over again again for the 3rd time but this time together.

The second song is basically them traveling. Reading off billboards as they travel the cosmos. However, I did such a bad job leveling the recordings, we are in the process of doing the whole thing again. This has caused Flash some issues as he is having some problem getting the same sound as the first time through (but we think we have worked that out). Each spacecraft has some voice parts in this (reading the signs and maybe a few comments).

The first time through, the levels on the different tracks were too different to try and blend them back together (especially the voice lines but everything really). We did not like the way it was coming out so decided to just do it again. We do not know where the road will take us, but we are enjoying the experience (enough to make it a song). So far it is going better (a bit more melody, and then I just have to redo the voice parts).

There are a few more songs after that (but I do not want to ruin the surprise too much). We are working on it, and it should be out in the not too distant future.
