Space - Not as Empty as we Thought - Videos for the New Album

Not just are we getting to find out about aliens and all the other worlds out there, there is more to it. Though space is big (that is why they call it space), and a vacuum (so no atmosphere) that does not mean it is empty. There is an energy in space that the spacecraft can see. It has shapes and colors and serves as the background to all that goes on.

Not just is it there, it seems this energy actually responds to certain inputs. Though most of the time it just does what it does, it seems for the spacecraft it will react to their music. Bringing back the original mood or scene that is the inspiration of the song. This is one of the things that makes their performances so popular. Not just is it the music or stories (keep in mind they perform mostly additional songs from the silicone heart type music that did not make the album) but also the energy show that the audience gets to enjoy.

This has not been coming through in the videos at all though. Yea, I put a cartoon spacecraft in there every or some other picture (Alien, ship etc), space is all black. That is why the spacecraft suggested that I purchase the Citter & Guitari EYESY. This will form the background for the videos (or in some cases maybe the entire video portion). So no longer will the background just be basic black.

The spacecraft had some very direct ideas on what they wanted for some backgrounds, but I had to pump the brakes on them. Yes, the device does alot of things. However, I already have a day job, I am working with their music, I do not have time to be programming alot of backgrounds into this device (especially trying to catch their sometimes multi directional desires). So I told them initially we should just go with the loaded scenes and just use the normal mods for those. They agreed. It only seems natural. We are still learning how to produce sounds and make music, why should we skip far ahead on the video side. Start easy, learn and build.

Having said that, we are truly going on the last song on the album. We have some sounds we like and it is laid out on Topper. The spacecraft are deciding where to put some of the sounds and other pieces. I am taking this brief downtime to use the EYESY to put together some videos already. Might as well learn how it works. So things are going pretty well.
