We hear voices?

The song is done now. Interestingly, it is more listenable than I expected. No one will be dancing to it (or even tapping their toes), but that is the point of the song. It is supposed to be the AI discussing something and getting to the point (so it is).
Next up, as I said, would be the big challenge. I would need to add another voice to my repertoire (I have Super, Flash, Dark and the Aliens though we have not used that). For the normal AI machines, I am just using the standard Robot voice in the VT-4 (so no issues there). Now we have a new character, a female robotic AI (she has a special purpose, but that can wait on the album). She gets a song, and I wanted a female voice.
Apparently, the Roland VT-4 is more up to the challenge than I expected. Only took me a few minutes, and I was singing as a woman. I did modify it a little bit on top (it is supposed to be a robot after all). However, her voice is cleaner than the other AI (and there is a story reason for that). In fact, the words were written quite awhile ago, I was able to lay down the chords, melody etc, very quickly. I made the voice, now just need time to put it together and sing it. So might still be making reasonable progress.
This exercise did lead to another debate on the voices. Super is still not happy with his (Dark and Flash are ok with theirs). Super also thinks that now that the OP-1 Field has a vocoder, we can use it to make the voices (I think Condu (the OP-1) is pushing him here). Indeed we could do a lot with Condu now in modifying my voice to give their parts the sound they want. However, as I pointed out, making me sound like a female might be a bit much to ask, and the VT-4 is really designed to modify voice (the OP-1 has other design goals).
After a bit of discussion, we will look at modifying the voices again after this album (as we will not really be doing vocal heavy stuff in the following album or so). We can play around and see what we get. However, if we do not like it better, we will stick with the VT-4.
That is it for this update. Next update will be a review by Condu. Maybe he will comment on the voice thing (maybe not).
